Win a Blog Makeover!

In honor of hitting 10,000 UNIQUE Hits (that’s TEN THOUSAND), I want to give away a few fun prizes! If you’ve wanted a custom blog makeover, here’s your chance!

YOU CAN ENTER NOW TO WIN A FREE BLOGGER MAKEOVER!

Please do the following to enter:

1. Comment to this post by April 15, 2009.

2. In that comment, tell me one thing you’ve learned from my blog.

3. Include your blog address. You can include it easily by following my blog instructions HERE.

All names will be drawn randomly. The prize can be from one of your kits, or from my favorite designer, Candee. Prizes must be claimed by April 30, 2009 9:00 PM EST.

3rd Place Prize: subscription button

2nd Place Prize: custom blinkie and custom signature

Grand Prize: blog background, custom header, navigational tabs, blinkie, side bar buttons, subscription button, custom post separator and custom signature.

I would love to help with other blogs, but this is really for Blogspot Bloggers because I really don't know how to work the other blogs, although I have really tried. And when I've tried they were always premium blogs (they cost money)...

…AND A FREEBIE!

I put together some elements from photos I got off Stockxpert, and extracted them. This is PERSONAL USE ONLY! I will be giving a few items for this mini-kit I’m calling Rather Old Things. Thanks! Please click on preview to download from Box.net.

  1. Oooh, Jeanette, you know I have to sign up for this. I'm dreading having to put my background together. I have all the parts, just scared of the html! Congrats on 10,000 hits, that is just amazing. I have learned so much, but my favorite are the navigational buttons.

  2. Hi Jeanette -

I am not entering this contest to win because I do not feel like losing so I just wanted to say that your tutorials, have been easy to understand and I have enjoyed knowing someone like you is out there to help others. You've helped me and encouraged me to design my own header and tabs and I thank you very much!

I'm sure the lucky winner will be more than blessed to receive so much of your Godly talent :)

    Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Blessing,
    Connie

  4. Oooh! Not only do I admire your work, but I looove Candee's designs.
Hmmm, one thing I've learned.... I guess the most important thing I've learned is sizing. Oh and I love the idea of having the side designs stay static and not scroll. I haven't put much of the info to use yet because of working too much but have big plans.
Congrats on 10K and here's to many more!

  8. Congratulations on 10k. Although I have never done a blog design, I am slowly but surely collecting information that will help me. The most important thing I've learned is sizing. So many pretty blogs are sized wrong and they look weird on my screen, but people don't realize. Thank you so much for this chance at a blog makeover!

  12. HI JEANNETTE!!!

How AWESOME is this! I was just over here last night and got HORRIBLY sidetracked as I often do and was wishing to thank you for your LOVELY e-mail and for being SO encouraging!

Oh, WOW, 10,000 ... CONGRATULATIONS darlin'!!! How SWEET of you to GIFT us on such a GRAND occasion!

Now, my answer will not be a typical one I don't believe, but honestly, it is the FIRST thing that came to mind when asked to list ONE thing that I have learned from Easy Custom Blogs! MY ANSWER: I have learned just how INCREDIBLY talented you are and HOW generous you are to be sharing those talents with ALL of SCRAPLAND!

Now, besides that, it would have to be how to leave my link which, if you remember, I could not get to work, so I am attempting to do so once again now: BON SCRAPATIT DESIGNS

Thank you for ALL that you do Jeannette! You are a SWEETHEART! MWAH!

    BIG HUGS,
    Linda :)

  16. OH! Fantastic!!! I've just started blogging and know very little. Well, I'm challenged at least. I never could find a good tutorial on creating a fabulous background like I did on your site. Now I just have to go and make one! Love it!

  18. Jeanette,
Congrats on the 10,000 hits. I am entering the contest because i really want to win the make over and SOME BUTTONS. I have learned from you how to get rid of all those ugly lines to make a nicer looking blog..

I have read night after night in the beginning on how to create layouts and THAT HAS TO BE MY FAVORITE THING to try and do.. and share with our blogging family in cyberspace.I learned from you how to post my signature.

I have written to you a few times and with out hesitation you have written back to guide me through everything.

My next challenge is to try and make the blog with a column on both sides...but until then i will keep READING and working on layouts.

please consider me.I would love buttons , BUTTONS , buttons and the instructions on how to do them.

    Happy Bloggin'

  19. Congrats on hitting such a milestone. While I've picked up a lot of great hints on your blog the one I loved reading the most was the one you made recently about having a job you love....being a special education teacher....which is also my job :-)
Mostly though I enjoyed knowing my desk isn't the only one buried in paperwork at this time of the year but guess what....you also have a life outside of school and are able to blog!
    THANKS!
