You can hide your Navbar, in a Peek-A-Boo style. You can see the code in action, by clicking on my photo website My Photo Heart. If you put your cursor at the top of the page the Navbar will show.
This cool tool was made by Bloggeratto, and touted by Pocket. I liked this tutorial so much, that I used it on Easy Custom Blogs as well. This does not work consistently with IE (Internet Explorer) but works great with Mozilla.
Step 1 - Back up your template.
Click HERE to learn how.
Step 2 – Edit your HTML.
Go to CUSTOMIZE/LAYOUT/EDIT HTML
You will FIND this in your code by pressing the CTRL and the F key together. Put this code
]]></b:skin>
in your search box.
JUST BEFORE THIS CODE, add the following code:
#navbar-iframe{opacity:0.0;filter:alpha(Opacity=0)}
#navbar-iframe:hover{opacity:1.0;filter:alpha(Opacity=100, FinishedOpacity=100)
The preview may not show the Navbar at all. I didn’t think mine was working at first, but once you save it you will see that it works.
Here’s to more happy scrapping, and
